The program of Zelensky's fourth government adopted by the Cabinet, now it's the Verkhovna Rada's turn to approve

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) approved the Government's Program of Activities. The document, within the legally established period, has been submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. As of the time of this news, the document has not yet been published.

The news about the Cabinet's acceptance of its Action Program came from the government portal.

According to the report, “the program records the government’s operating principles, main goals, and specific tasks. It is a clear list of what the Government must accomplish. For each direction there is a clear personal responsibility.”

Prime Minister Serhiy Koryetsky (Koretsky) “expressed gratitude to the members of parliament who participated in preparing and finalizing the document, and expectations for the Parliament to consider the program as soon as possible.”

“The main goal of the program is to endure and win in the war for Independence. This is our joint work and joint responsibility for the result,” said Koretsky.

The Government's Action Programme in Ukraine, according to the law, must be a normative legal act adopted by a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada and be based on agreed political positions and program tasks of the coalition factions in the Verkhovna Rada.

Since the beginning of President Volodymyr Zelensky's term, among four governments only two prime ministers have submitted such a program—the current one and the first head of Zelensky's government Oleksiy Honcharuk (Denys Shmyhal and Yulia Svyridenko did not submit a parliamentary plan; they were limited to cabinet orders).
