Russian drone struck a gas station in Kharkiv

During the night 18 of August, the Russian terrorist army launched a drone strike on the territory of Kharkiv. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, via Hlaークom.

The hostile drone hit a gas station in the Industrial district of the city. Information about the scale of destruction, the fire, and possible casualties is being clarified.

“A strike by a hostile drone on a gas station in the Industrial district has been recorded. We are clarifying the details,” wrote Ihor Terekhov.

As is known, this year the Russians have methodically begun destroying gas stations in front-line areas and even deeper in the rear. According to analysts-branch professionals, the occupiers have “removed” over 160 gas stations.

By the way, in recent weeks the global oil market has again been under geopolitical pressure. Tensions between the United States and Iran, attacks on shipping in the Red Sea, and risks for the Strait of Hormuz have already affected the price of oil and petroleum products.

Also, international energy and security relations expert Mykhailo Honchar believes that despite the current fuel price increases, it is premature to talk about gasoline at 100 hryvnias per liter. The further situation will depend on events in the Middle East and prices on the European petroleum market.

Incidentally, as a result of the Russian drone attack in the Opishnianska community of Poltava region, all gas stations have been destroyed. Four private households have also been damaged. This was reported by the head of the community, Mykola Riznyk.

According to him, the refueling stations are completely destroyed and cannot be restored. “Last night they destroyed all the refueling stations in the Opishnianska community. There is nothing left for restoration; they were shattered by ‘Shahed’ drones,” said Riznyk.
