KVU: half of the Servant of the People faction are millionaires

153 Members of the Servant of the People faction are millionaires according to the data in their declarations. In total, the faction has 247 members of parliament, thus every second deputy of the ruling party is a millionaire.

These data are reflected in the declarations of the deputies available on the National Agency on Corruption Prevention website (section 12, monetary assets) — reported by the Ukrainian Center for Democracy Studies, Commitee of Voters of Ukraine.

Among the top 10 wealthiest Servant of the People deputies: Oleg Voronko — declared 123 million UAH; Oleksandr Sova — 79 million UAH; Andriy Herus — 38 million UAH; Roman Mulyk — 24 million UAH; Ostap Shipailo — 22 million UAH; Ruslan Horbenko — 22 million UAH; Oleksandr Trukhin — 21 million UAH; Davyd Arakhamia — 21 million UAH; Geo Leros — 20 million UAH; Artem Kultenko — 19 million UAH. The smallest funds declared by Servants of the People: Serhiy Kolebossin (75 thousand UAH), Yelizaveta Bohutska (66 thousand), Orest Salamaka (62 thousand), Yulia Ovchinnikova (55 thousand) and Anatoliy Drabovskyi (16 thousand). In total, 247 Servants of the People deputies declared 1,1 billion UAH (90% of funds in cash).

When calculating, only monetary assets of deputies were considered: cash and funds placed on bank accounts. Real estate and other valuable assets were not taken into account. Also not considered were monetary assets owned by the wives, husbands of deputies and their joint funds. Loans were also not taken into account. Funds available in cash were converted to their hryvnia equivalent for the calculations.
