Five times more presidential advisers for Yarmak than for Zelensky, CVU said

Head of the Office of the President A. Yarmak has five times more official advisers than the President of Ukraine V. Zelensky.

Such data were obtained by the Committee of Voters in response to an information request to the Office of the President.

As of 23 November, Yermak had 19 advisers (later one more adviser was added – O. Arestyovych).

V. Zelensky has only 4 advisers. The advisers of V. Zelensky are: Andrew Mack, Serhiy Trofimov, Oleh Ustyenko, Mykhailo Radutsky. All of them work on a part-time basis. The advisers of A. Yermak are: on a staff basis – Lilia Pashinna, Oleksandr Kozhenko, Andriy Lyakhovych, Viktoriya Romanova, Vadym Holomazov; on a non-staff basis – Serhiy Kunitsyn, Olena Hovora, Dariya Zarivna, Dmytro Dyachuk, Vadym Potayev, Serhiy Nekleva, Ruslan Magomedov, Mykhailo Podolyak, Mykola Bezzuzhchenko, Mykhailo Pasichnyk, Adomas Audickas, Oleksandr Rodnyanskiy, Serhiy Matienko, Tymofiy Mylovanov. In response to the request, it is also noted that information about meetings of the group of advisers to the President of Ukraine is absent, which may indicate that the meetings were not held at all.

“The available facts indicate that the institution of presidential advisers has been effectively destroyed. It is notable not only for the small number of advisers, but also for the fact that in 2020 year advisers clearly did not meet even once. This means that the Head of State is maximally insulated from objective expert information that advisers could provide him. In contrast, a large number of advisers for the head of the office is a non-sense. In accordance with his powers, he should ensure the work of the Head of State, including organizing the work of the President’s advisers,” commented CVU head Oleksiy Koshul.
