Yermak, Umerov and Stefanchuk arrived in the United States on the eve of a vote on Ukraine in Congress

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President; Rustem Umerov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine; and Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, are on a visit to the United States.

This is reported by the press service of the Office of the President.

In particular, Yermak has already spoken at the US World Institute.

"Already 649 days Ukraine is fighting for freedom. We thwarted Russia's blitzkrieg plans. We stood firm. Ukrainians are very grateful to everyone who helped us remain a sovereign and independent state," he noted.

According to the head of the Office, Russia today is trying to fuel conflicts in various countries, and this must be prevented.

Yermak reminded of the Ukrainian peace formula, which offers a comprehensive response to security challenges.

"It returns justice to the world. This is the Ukrainian formula, but all should become co-authors of a peace plan based on it. We turn good will into good action," he added.

As Yermak noted, responsible states that respect international law must remain united and devoted to the cause of saving peace. At the same time, peace can be prevented only by providing Ukraine with reliable multilateral security guarantees.
