Sadowy and “Samopomich” have become puppets of the Bankova

Ukraine's General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko held a confidential meeting with the mayor of Lviv, head of the party “Samopomich” Andriy Sadovyi.

The politicians held a meeting 5 in December in the second half of the day at the restaurant “Fish on Fire” on Sakhaidachnoho Street, 23 in Kyiv.

Yuriy Lutsenko and Andriy Sadovyi discussed investigative actions that employees of the General Prosecutor's Office were conducting at the Lviv City Hall 15 in November.

Then the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office announced that employees of the Lviv City Council were suspected of embezzling someone else's property on a particularly large scale by abusing their official position.

In fact, through an open criminal proceeding in which pre-trial investigation is ongoing, the parliamentary faction “Samopomich” and Andriy Sadovyi themselves have now become objects of political manipulation by the “Block Poroshenko” with the mediation of the General Prosecutor's Office and Yuriy Lutsenko.

Andriy Sadovyi was handed an order to start a campaign to persecute a member of Parliament from the Opposition Bloc Vadym Noviinsky. Members of Parliament from “Samopomich” began aggressively demanding the lifting of parliamentary immunity from Vadym Noviinsky during meetings of the parliament's constitutional committee and hearings of the Verkhovna Rada. At the same time, “Samopomich” emphasizes removing the deputy's immunity as quickly as possible, but bypassing the written rules.

Thus, even if a quorum is secured in the session hall to adopt the respective decision, Vadym Noviinsky will be able to challenge such a decision in court. The politician will have every basis to win in this proceeding, which would nullify all subsequent—even entirely legal—attempts to strip Vadym Noviinsky of deputy immunity.

As a reminder, yesterday, 6 in December, Yuriy Lutsenko during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada's regulatory committee called the lawyer of MP Vadym Noviinsky, Oleg Tatarov, a “f‑ing Orthodox.”

Yuriy Lutsenko spoke against Tatarov defending Noviinsky's interests, since he held the position of deputy head of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the events of Euromaidan.

“I personally consider it unacceptable that the defense here, on the committee, is led by a man who headed the MIA investigative department and was involved in pursuing Mr. Drabinka. He was the defender of the MP Noviinsky.

This again proves the full connection of MP Noviinsky with the actions of the then police, which carried out criminal orders of Yanukovych to usurp power in church life by depriving one of the close associates of the late Metropolitan Vladimir of his archbishopric,” Lutsenko said.

Yuriy Lutsenko's words relate to the incident between President Petro Poroshenko and Vadym Noviinsky in February 2014 of the year, when the guarantor attacked the politician with the words “S‑t Orthodox,” accusing him of the deaths of protesters at Independence Square.

As a reminder, today representatives of the Samopomich faction ignored the vote on a draft resolution addressing democratic states about recognizing the Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians.

Earlier, Samopomich party members Serhiy Husovskyi and Oksana Syroiid spoke before believers at the infamous Spiritual Center “Revival.”
