Visa application rules for entry into Ukraine may change

Rules for issuing visas for entering Ukraine may change.

The Cabinet of Ministers will consider on Wednesday a question about amendments to the rules for issuing visas for entering Ukraine and for transit through its territory.

As reported by Ukrinform, the corresponding draft resolution proposed by Foreign Minister Dmytro Ku­leba is on the agenda of the meeting, published on the Government Portal.

In addition, Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko will propose changes to the procedure for crediting part of the excise tax from fuel produced in Ukraine and imported into its customs territory to the general fund of local budgets in 2020 year. He will also initiate approval of the procedure for financing the creation by the bodies maintaining the State Register of Voters of voter lists and named invitations for the preparation and conduct of voting in local elections.

On the agenda is also a draft resolution on amendments to the procedure for disposing of property confiscated by court decision and transferred to the State Executive Service. The question of amendments to the provision on imposing special duties on market participants in the natural gas sector to ensure broad public interests in the functioning of the natural gas market will also be considered.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov submitted to colleagues a draft resolution proposing changes to the provisions on the State Migration Service. Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Kryklii — on Ukraine's withdrawal from certain international agreements concluded within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The government will approve standard forms of contracts for providing educational services by a professional pre-higher education institution and for study at a higher education institution.

Ministers intend to agree on a number of bills, which will then be submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, on amendments to the Law “On Employ­ment of the Population” regarding assistance for partial unemployment during the quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers to prevent the spread of particularly dangerous infectious diseases, as well as a draft law on ratification of the agreement with the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic on the performance of paid types of labor activity by family members of employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices.
