Former aide to Kononenko appointed deputy head of State Property Fund

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Volodymyr Derzhavin as deputy head of the State Property Fund; he previously worked as an assistant to Verkhovna Rada deputy Ihor Kononenko on a voluntary basis.

This is stated in the relevant government orders adopted back in 20 January, writes "UNIAN."

In particular, by order No.127, Vitaliy Pilkevych was dismissed from this position. According to the document, he was dismissed due to taking another job.

In turn, by order No.128 the Cabinet appointed Derzhavin in his place.

According to information on the SPF website, in addition to the deputy head position listed as vacant, the head of the SPF also has a first deputy, Dmytro Parfenenko, and two deputies — Andriy Haidutskyi and Nataliya Lebid.

Note that Derzhavin, while serving as head of the legal support department for the Kyiv City Council, ran in the 2014 parliamentary elections on the "Petro Poroshenko Bloc" list at No.143.

He was a member of the previous convocation of the Kyiv City Council (2014-2015) and belonged to the "UDAR-Solidarity" faction.

From 2002 to 2003 he worked as a legal assistant at LLC "Ukrainian Association of Property Management," from 2003 to 2008 as a legal counsel at LLC "Stolitsya," and since 2008 he has practiced as a private attorney.

Earlier, the media had already reported that Derzhavin, a long-time associate of Kononenko, could be appointed as Bilous's deputy, but there was no official confirmation of this information.
