Radio stations owned by Sadovyi’s wife received critical status and can arrange “exemptions”

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine recognized three media companies as critically important for the functioning of the economy during a special period: JSC “Radio Lux,” LLC “Radio Continent,” and LLC “TRC Nostalgia.” The corresponding order No. 1002 was signed by 26 August 2026 of this year by the Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy – Minister of Culture Tetyana Berezhna, reports Hlavcom.

The co-owner of JSC “Radio Lux” and LLC “Radio Continent” is Kateryna Kit-Sadova, the wife of Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovyi. The third company on the list, LLC “TRC Nostalgia,” was controlled until August 2025 of this year by Yaroslava Nazarova – the daughter of People’s Deputy from the banned OPZZh Yuriy Boyko.

According to the text of the document, the basis for the decision was the enterprises’ fulfillment of government-established criteria: no tax or single social contribution arrears, and an average employee salary at least three times higher than the national minimum wage. The granted status of critically important enterprises gives these media structures the right to exempt their employees from mobilization.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine confirmed LLC “Supersymmetry,” associated with the activities of the band Okean Elzy, as critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the population’s livelihood during a special period. The corresponding order No. 936 was signed by 18 in August by the Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy – Minister of Culture Tetyana Berezhna.

Recall that the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine updated the criteria by which enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are important for the national economy in the cultural and information spheres are determined.
