Posters of the deputy director about installing defibrillators have appeared in the Kyiv metro. Last year she called it “PR on death”

Posters with portraits of metro leaders have appeared at Kyiv metro stations: director Viktor Brahynskyi, his deputy Nataliya Makohon, and head of the structural unit “Traffic Service” Serhiy Tkachuk.

In particular, on one of the posters a photo of Nataliya Makohon is accompanied by the inscription “Defibrillators installed at all subway stations,” reports the publication Khmarochos.

Motohelp director Dmytro Burenin said that installing defibrillators in the Kyiv metro is the achievement of a number of volunteer organizations, while metro management resisted this.

When the defibrillators were finally installed at the stations, they were placed not on the platforms but in the ticket offices. According to statistics, every minute of delay in using the device reduces its effectiveness by 10%, Burenin notes.

Last year, when another person died at one of the stations, volunteers accused the metro of obstructing the initiative to install defibrillators. In response, Nataliya Makohon said: “Business is business, but PR on someone else’s death disgusts me.”

People’s Deputy Yuriy Levchenko writes that, according to his sources in the Kyiv City Council, Brahynskyi, Makohon, and Tkachuk are running for the city council on the lists of Vitali Klitschko’s party UDAR. Brahynskyi and Makohon were also present at the party congress on 26 August, during the presentation of the renewed lineup.
