Balashov Roman Serhiyovych

Nominal director of Beton with corporate ties between Akhmetov and the Office of the President

The Beton brand is registered to JSC "Chicago", whose director is Roman Balashov; he is also a co-beneficiary of LLC "Financial Company 'K9'" together with Serhiy Fatkullin. Balashov is also the owner of LLC "Ortaveron" (production of aircraft), "Perun Company" (printing), and JSC "Chicago" (a closed investment fund with a charter capital of UAH 130 million). Managing the closed investment fund may indicate that he simply represents the interests of third parties.

Fatkullin → Kamyshyn → SCM → Office of the President chain

Serhiy Munzylovych Fatkullin, co-beneficiary of "K9" together with Balashov, is a close friend of Oleh Popov — the long-time CEO of SCM management company of Rinat Akhmetov. Fatkullin, together with Oleksandr Kamyshyn, founded "Grano Holding" and more than a dozen other companies in Kamyshyn's group: "Intermodal Terminal Eurobridge", "Energrin" and others. Kamyshyn is a member of the Headquarters, advisor to the Office of the President, former Minister of Strategic Industries (2023–2024) and former head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" (2022–2023); before public service, he was SCM Akhmetov's top manager, founder of Latifundist Media, Grano Group, AgTech Farm, and Fortior Capital. According to journalists, this network of connections allowed Beton to grow its turnover within a year from UAH 127 thousand to over UAH 2 billion — and become the title sponsor of "Shakhtar".
