Secretary of Boryspil City Council, Kyiv region. Former city council deputy from Lyashko's Radical Party — expelled after publicly supporting Zelensky. Headed the charitable foundation "Nadiya". Assistant to MP Oksana Bilozir, staff member of Yushchenko's campaign headquarters in Kyiv region. On June 29, 2000, while working in "Berkut," together with another policeman, he broke into an apartment of a Kyiv resident demanding money. In 2002, convicted for robbery with grievous bodily harm — three years probation. He claims the case was fabricated.

Zelensky expelled him from a meeting in 2019; attack on an activist

On July 10, 2019, during a working visit to Boryspil, Zelensky read on his phone information about Godunok's conviction and expelled him from the meeting saying "Exit! Go for a walk, my God." On August 29, 2019, Godunok attacked activist Ihor Petrovskiy in the premises of Boryspil City Council; a criminal case was opened, later reclassified as hooliganism.
