Scandalous MP of the IX convocation, a figure in the NABU case regarding a «sanction» bribe

Television journalist by education, MP of the IX convocation (elected from "Servant of the People" in electoral district №93 of Kyiv region). In November 2019, she was excluded from the SN faction: faction leader David Arakhamia accused her of not supporting party decisions, offering bribes to colleagues, and lobbying oligarchic groups; she herself claimed there were "envelope salaries" and pressure. Later joined the "For the Future" group; since 2023, headed the Temporary Investigative Commission regarding possible violations in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She blocked the removal of parliamentary immunity.

Bribery case and "Midas"

On December 5, 2025, NABU, SAP, and SBU exposed a criminal group which, according to the investigation, was headed by Skorokhod: she demanded $250,000 from an entrepreneur for facilitating the introduction of NSDC sanctions against a competitor (the first installment of $125,000 was handed over in the center of Kyiv). The High Anti-Corruption Court set bail over 3 million UAH; wiretaps were published where she aggressively demands money. Previously, her name appeared in the energy case "Midas" ("Midich tapes") — the figures discussed parliamentary inquiries on her behalf. She denies guilt, calling it pressure on the opposition.

Russian connection and declaration

Skorokhod's husband, Oleksiy Alyakin, is a citizen of the Russian Federation, a figure in criminal proceedings in Ukraine and Russia, who in 2018 was arrested for extradition to Russia. Publicly defended the St. George ribbon as a "symbol of victory." In the 2021 declaration, she indicated 162 bitcoins (~257 million UAH), but the data on the cryptocurrency volume proved unreliable. There is no verdict — the case is ongoing.
