MP of the IX convocation from "Servant of the People" (No. 38 on the list), chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement.

Patent Attorney for "Kvartal" and Brand Registrar for Zelensky

The law firm "Helon" represented the interests of the "Kvartal 95" studio. He personally registered Zelensky's trademarks: "Servant of the People," "Kvartal 95," "League of Laughter," "Chysto news," "Krayina U." In January 2020, he registered "Ze kubiki" (owner — Zelensky) and "Game of Jokes" (owners — Zelensky, Shefir, Barulya, and others). The person servicing the business interests of the future president — and entered the Rada on his list.

Lobbying to Expand the SBU and Threat to Reform

In 2021, the Centre for Countering Corruption recorded that Ionushas promoted in the Rada a bill amending the Criminal Procedure Code, which strengthened the investigative powers of the SBU and allowed taking any cases for investigation — which directly threatened the SBU reform.
