From 2003 to 2014, engaged in agricultural business: director of the state enterprise DPDG "Obroshyne", co-founder of the corporation "Vinal-Agro". MP of the VIII convocation from the BPP and IX convocation as an independent candidate, member of the parliamentary group "Dovira". Formerly a member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, currently a member of the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services.
Button-pressing on behalf of Dubnevych — and relapse
In May 2016, was caught on video voting in place of the scandalous MP Yaroslava Dubnevych — who "did not manage" to press his own button. In January 2017, a relapse: during voting on bill No. 5573, reached over to the button at the adjacent seat, after which the "Rada" system showed a vote from an empty seat.
Lobbying of "Kernel" and conflict of interest
The media name Kit as one of the main lobbyists of the agricultural holding "Kernel" in parliament. While working in the agricultural committee, he systematically supported the holding's interests in votes. Meanwhile, his father Bohdan Kit was actively engaged in agricultural business, and his wife Maria is co-owner of four companies. The NAPC requested explanations concerning possible violations of anti-corruption legislation. He also did not declare a land plot in Lviv region — the NAPC confirmed the violation.
