Person information
Physics teacher and editor of the district newspaper – MP from the "People's Front",
Pavlo Dzyublyk is one of the most typical representatives of the "majoritarian" parliamentary corps: a person without a prominent business or political background who entered the Verkhovna Rada through local activism and a party list. He is a teacher of mathematics and physics by education — graduated from Zhytomyr State University named after Franko. He worked as a manager at the "Blitz-Inform" publishing house, a physics and computer science teacher, editor of the district newspaper "New Life," and a foreman at a construction company. From April to November 2014, he was head of the Chernyakhiv District State Administration, after which he was elected MP of the VIII convocation from the "People's Front" in a majoritarian district in Zhytomyr region.
Ice cream, playgrounds, and the "Mezhyhirya for educators"
Dzyublyk’s public activity was mostly limited to image-building events in his district: facilitated the opening of a children's playground and distributed ice cream to children, organized a tour of the castle for doctors and a trip to Mezhyhirya for educators, installed sports exercise machines. The teachers' trip to Yanukovych’s residence as the "merit" of the deputy is a detail that inadvertently reveals his level of ambitions and understanding of usefulness. Overall, Dzyublyk fulfilled only 58% of his promises, most of which concerned his district.
