$60 million "to the Armed Forces of Ukraine" — without a single receipt

Oleh Krot is a co-founder of the IT holding Techiia (WePlay Esports, Culver Aviation, "Hlefa"). In 2022, he stated that he personally transferred $60 million to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Forbes found that the amount nearly equals the annual turnover of the entire holding, and no documentary confirmation of most expenses was provided. Instead of explanations—statements about an "information attack" and threats of lawsuits, which have not been heard of since.

Connections with 1xBet and suspicion of fraud

Krot and his partner Lazebnikov publicly announced cooperation with the sanctioned Russian bookmaker 1xBet in 2021. After the scandal, traces disappeared from the 1xBet websites—which is possible only through direct contact with the company. Krot has been charged with fraud on an especially large scale: the investigation believes that in 2020–2021 he organized a scheme to seize $35 million in cryptocurrency from Brazilian entrepreneur Fusiyami. Krot is wanted, and the Pechersk Court has arrested his shares in 5 companies, including the drone manufacturer "Hlefa."

Defense sector and needed people

After the arrest of assets in "Hlefa," new partners emerged from the orbit of the Office of the President, and the director became the son of the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation. In October 2024, while under suspicion, Krot legalized $989 thousand through a Cyprus offshore, purchasing an apartment in Kyiv.
