From Pharmacist to Retailer through a Regional Party Assistant

In the VII convocation of the Verkhovna Rada (2012–2014), he was an assistant to MP Anatoliy Denysenko from the Party of Regions. According to the Kharkiv Anti-Corruption Center, in October 2015, a company co-owned by Lobanovskyi received a significant land plot in Kharkiv. The permit for constructing a shopping mall in Kholodna Hora was granted to LLC "TD 'Poltavskyi Shlyakh'" — owners Lobanovskyi and Viktoriya Lomakina. After the publication of a journalistic article about Lobanovskyi receiving the land, the article was removed from Google search following a complaint alleging "copyright infringement" — journalists interpreted this as pressure from the publication's subject.
