From Plast to the Ukrainian Galician Party and Holos

In 2014, together with Plast members, he founded the 15th hundred of the Maidan Self-Defense, where he served as chancellor. From 2015 to 2018, he was Deputy Chairman and then Head of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Galician Party (UGP); since March 2018, Chair of the UGP Political Council. In summer 2019, the UGP agreed on cooperation with Vakarchuk's Holos party, Lozynskyi became the party coordinator in Lviv region and was elected to the Verkhovna Rada at number 15 on the party list.

Split of Holos and joining Spravedlyvist

In 2021, 11 out of 20 Holos faction deputies, including Lozynskyi, announced a vote of no confidence in the party and faction leadership and formed the Spravedlyvist (Justice) group in the Verkhovna Rada, together with Ustinova, Klymenko, Bobrovska and others.

Reserve of the Special Operations Forces and surety for Sternenko

The court released activist Serhii Sternenko on the bail of Deputy Roman Lozynskyi, canceling his house arrest. In October 2021, Lozynskyi signed a contract to serve in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the 73rd Marine Center of the Special Operations Forces; since summer 2023, he has been attached to the Verkhovna Rada while remaining in service.
