TV presenter of the pro-Russian NewsOne, "Radio Vesti," and a presidential candidate without ratings

Yulia Leonidivna Lytvynenko is a journalist, TV presenter, and former general producer of the radio station "Radio Vesti." She was a candidate for President of Ukraine in the 2019 elections.

Since 2014, she has been an author and presenter of programs and the general producer at Radio Vesti—a media outlet known for its pro-Russian editorial policy. Since December 2016, she has been a host of the program "Weekdays" on the pro-Russian TV channel NewsOne, where she hosted "20/22 with Lytvynenko and Apasov," "The Great Interview," and others. Prior to this, she was set to join "Pryamiy," but backed out at the last moment—as the media explained, due to a better salary offer at NewsOne.

Assistant to Vlasenko from BYuT and presidential ambitions

In the 6th convocation, she served as an unpaid assistant to the People's Deputy from BYuT Serhiy Vlasenko. On February 7, 2019, the Central Election Commission registered her as a self-nominated presidential candidate. Sociological polls did not register her in the ratings. Her main declared motivation was "the future of children," proposing negotiations with the Kremlin involving international partners and recognition of Russia as a party to the conflict. She is divorced and raising two daughters.
