Aston Martin DBX for $190,000 during war

Member of Parliament from "Batkivshchyna" Oleh Meydich declared the most expensive car among all legislators in his 2025 declaration — a 2022 Aston Martin DBX, with a market value starting at $190,000. Officially, the car is rented by his wife, Tatiana, from the company "Inovers Group." This company was recently registered to the parliamentarian's father — Leonid Pohorelskiy. The car costs seven times the annual net profit of the leasing company.

Watch collection from Hublot, CVSTOS, and Rolex

Meydich himself declared a watch collection: a Hublot worth 241 thousand hryvnias, a CVSTOS worth 341 thousand. His wife owns a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust valued at 645 thousand. Together — nearly two million hryvnias on the wrist. In public statements, the "Batkivshchyna" faction traditionally talks about protecting socially vulnerable groups.

Family company as a garage for luxury

The scheme of registering cars through affiliated LLCs is standard for MPs. Officially, the official "does not own" an expensive car — there is only a "lease" from a "related" company. This company declares minimal profit. But a car worth as much as seven annual profits of the company stands under the deputy's house. The scheme is legal — but hardly honest.

100 million hryvnias of MPs' car fleet during blackouts

Meydich is one of ten MPs who in 2025 updated their car fleets together by at least 100 million hryvnias. While Ukraine experienced blackouts, infrastructure strikes, and mobilization tension, parliamentarians bought Range Rover, BMW, Lexus, and Aston Martin vehicles. The contrast between the parliamentary hall and the garage is telling.
