"Champion of Suspicion" from NABU — five investigations

Candidate of Economic Sciences (Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, 2013, construction). People's Deputy of the 8th convocation. Owner of the construction group "UkrBud." Received five suspicions from NABU — a record number among the figures of anti-corruption proceedings. The first suspicion (October 2019) — embezzlement of UAH 81.64 million of state funds during the exchange of apartments for the National Guard of Ukraine servicemen. The second (September 2020) — a "nuclear bribe": ensured the victory of a controlled company in the tender of NAEC "Energoatom" for the construction of a nuclear fuel storage facility worth over UAH 1 billion. The third suspicion — embezzlement of UAH 307 million allocated in 2018 for the construction of protected arsenals for the Ministry of Defense.

€22 million bribe to Filatov and confessions about Tatarov, Zaburanna, and Stefanishyna on NABU recording

On October 18, 2022, NABU exposed Mykytas attempting to bribe the mayor of Dnipro, Filatov, with €22 million for the return of UkrBud's assets. On the NABU recording, Mykytas admitted that his activities are assisted by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Oleh Tatarov; that he controls People's Deputy Lesia Zaburanna; and that the proposed scheme is to be supported by Vice Prime Minister Stefanishyna. In November 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court placed him under house arrest; in April 2024, this was changed to bail of UAH 908,000. In July 2019, Mykytas personally attacked the head of Liubetska village council in Chernihiv region.
