Former Minister of Energy, NABU and SBI case figure with a Russian wife

Member of Parliament of the III, IV, and VIII convocations, three-time mayor of Kalush, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry (2016–2019) in the Groysman government. One of the wealthiest people in Prykarpattia, formerly a sponsor of the BPP. His wife, Güzal, is a citizen of the Russian Federation, to whom, according to the media, a significant part of the property and an offshore company in the British Virgin Islands are registered.

Video with the "DNR" leader and coal from ORDLO

In 2016, a video was released where Nasalyk negotiates with one of the leaders of "DNR" militants about the supply of coal from occupied Donbas; he himself said that he visited Donetsk in 2015 "not about coal." As a minister, he publicly defended trade with the occupied territories ("we do not trade with the occupiers, we exchange goods") and appointed an "authorized representative" for the supply of anthracite from ORDLO.

Undeclared $1.25 million and court case

In 2019, NABU announced suspicion for false declaration — hidden financial obligations of $1.25 million for 2015–2018; the High Anti-Corruption Court closed the case, the appeal reinstated it. In 2023, SBI announced a new suspicion for abuse of office — a subordinate, under his instruction, concluded deals harmful to the state; in 2025 the case was sent to court.
