About Ministry of Energy

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine is the central executive authority that formulates and implements state policy in the fields of energy, electric power industry, oil and gas complex, and state energy security. The main task of the ministry is to ensure the stable functioning of Ukraine's energy system, develop energy infrastructure, control the efficient use of energy resources, and implement modern technologies in the energy sector.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine coordinates the activities of enterprises in the fuel and energy complex, promotes the development of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and the integration of the Ukrainian energy system into the European energy area. The agency is also responsible for energy independence, nuclear safety, modernization of energy facilities, and response to crisis situations in the energy sector. Under current conditions, the ministry plays a key role in ensuring Ukraine's energy stability and security.
