London sentence of 21 months, $150 million arbitration debt and detention after attempted escape to Romania
In October 2024, the High Court of England sentenced Naumenko and Groza to 21 months imprisonment for violating the Global Asset Freeze Order. In January 2025, the LCIA arbitration tribunal ruled that they must pay ACP approximately $150 million for unpaid debts. In May 2025, Naumenko was detained while attempting to cross the Romanian border and was placed in pre-trial detention in Kyiv. In September 2025, while under custody, Naumenko gave an interview to Censor.net — calling the situation a "mirror of what is happening in Ukraine" and accused ACP of destroying the stevedoring business; he explained the company's re-registration to Lviv was due to partners' suspicion of "special influence on the judicial system" specifically there.
