Former Cabinet Minister who called Zelenskyy "the idol of the riffraff"

A native of Lviv (born 1977), candidate of sciences in public administration, participant in the ATO (mobilized in 2016 to the State Border Guard Service). Secretary of State of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (2017–2020), from March 2020 to July 2025 — Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Shmyhal government; lost the position with the resignation of the entire government.

"Idol of the riffraff" and "European Solidarity" primaries

On the day of his appointment as minister, he became involved in a scandal: journalists found his Facebook posts where he called Zelenskyy "the idol of the riffraff" and his voters "believers in the coming of Holoborodko." In the 2019 elections, he supported Poroshenko and took part in the "European Solidarity" primaries — which did not prevent him from working as a minister for five years in the "green" government, becoming one of its longest-serving members.

Political connections

Previously — deputy of the Lviv City Council from the UNP, in 2012 unsuccessfully ran for the Verkhovna Rada from "Our Ukraine" (No. 125). Since 2024 — co-chair of the Coordinating Working Group on Anti-Corruption Policy. No suspicions, criminal proceedings, or pro-Russian ties have been recorded in open sources; public declarations have not raised significant issues according to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).
