People's Deputy from "Servant of the People" on the Law Enforcement Committee — NABU suspicion for "envelopes"

Olha Savchenko is a People's Deputy of the IX convocation from "Servant of the People", Deputy Chair of the Committee on Rules of Procedure and Parliamentary Ethics, later a member of the Committee on Law Enforcement Activities. According to the investigation, she acted as part of an organized criminal group of deputies who received illicit benefits for voting in the Verkhovna Rada.

"Envelopes" every Thursday — and a bail of 16.6 million

According to the investigation, the distribution of illicit benefits was usually carried out every Thursday at the beginning of the following month. For November–December 2025, one of the deputies received no less than $145,000—with subsequent distribution among group members. A bail was posted for Savchenko—partly from her personal savings, partly borrowed funds. The bail for Savchenko is UAH 16.6 million—the smallest among five suspects. The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the pre-trial investigation until August 27, 2026.

The Law Enforcement Committee and the destruction of NABU

On July 22, 2025—five months before the suspicion—she voted for bill No. 12414, which subordinated NABU and SAP to the Prosecutor General. As a member of the committee overseeing law enforcement, she was destroying the independence of the agency that was simultaneously documenting her "envelopes".
