High-profile defenses and media scandals

Despite high professional recognition in the legal community, Shkarovskyi has repeatedly faced harsh criticism in Ukrainian media due to his choice of clients. The greatest public resonance was caused by his role as defense attorney for the controversially known family of Lviv businessmen Hrynkevych (notably Ihor and Roman Hrynkevych).
