Svyrydenko Yulia Anatoliivna
Prime Minister of Ukraine
Activist, politician
Long-serving Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and former Minister of Justice, later Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA
A lawyer from Odesa (born October 29, 1985, maiden name Kravets). She led the European and Euro-Atlantic integration direction for over five years: Deputy Prime Minister (2020–2025), and since 2024 — simultaneously Minister of Justice. Member of the political council of "Servant of the People" and the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). In August 2025, she became Ukraine's Ambassador to the USA; on August 3, 2026, Zelensky dismissed her from this position (she called it her own decision — amid public accusations regarding a conflict of interest and declaration issues).
Suspicion by NABU/SAP (August 2026)
At the end of July 2026, NABU conducted searches, seizing evidence related to real estate purchases, and on August 5, NABU/SAP handed her a suspicion notice. According to "Ukrainian Truth," the Center for Public Investigations (CPI), and LB.ua, the charges involve illegal enrichment and two episodes of false declaration (three episodes in total); SAP requested the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to set bail at 123 million UAH, and the hearing was held behind closed doors. Stefanishyna denies guilt, emphasizing that the burden of proof lies with the prosecution.
Real estate and previous cases
Previously, hromadske established that Stefanishyna's mother purchased a three-room apartment of about 100 sq.m in the Kyiv residential complex "Lvivska Ploshcha" for 3.04 million UAH — while the developer was selling similar units from about 12 million UAH; she explained this as a parental investment from 2019. Her name also appeared in the "Lukash case" (misappropriation of 2.52 million UAH, events in 2013 at the Ministry of Justice), as well as in a case concerning possible abuses in ARMA, where her former husband Mykhailo was mentioned.
