In 2015, the GPU investigated the inclusion of Sytnyk’s wife in a delegation to London at state expense; charges were dropped. In 2018, the SAP registered a criminal proceeding for an inaccurate declaration. In 2019, the police investigated Sytnyk's stay at a hunting estate in Rivne region funded by others (~500 thousand UAH); he failed to appear for summons multiple times. The High Anti-Corruption Court found Sytnyk guilty of an administrative offense — disclosing personal data of Paul Manafort during a 2016 briefing. This penalty was used by Manafort's American lawyers to overturn his conviction. No criminal sentence has been issued to Sytnyk.
