Yermak Andriy Borysovych
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine
Former Deputy Head of the Office of the President
Yermak's security deputy, whose suspicion by NABU was shelved within days
Doctor of law and "Honored Lawyer," former police lieutenant colonel during Yanukovych's era, who during the Maidan voiced the position of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and justified the actions of law enforcement (critics still call him the "executioner of Maidan"; the proposal for his award was once signed by the fleeing minister Zakharchenko). Born in 1982 in Kirovohrad region. In August 2020, he appeared at Bankova Street as Deputy Head of the Office of the President for the law enforcement bloc.
NABU came to the Office of the President with suspicion — and the case was almost immediately taken away and "buried"
In December 2020, NABU and SAP announced suspicion against Tatarov: according to the investigation, working at "Ukrobud," he was an intermediary in giving a bribe for a fake expert examination in the case regarding apartments of the National Guard (losses ~81 million UAH). But a few days later, Prosecutor General Venediktova took the case from NABU and handed it over to the SBU — the bureau called this an "unprecedented interference." Prosecutors repeatedly withdrew motions for arrest, the High Anti-Corruption Court twice demanded the case be returned — and at the beginning of 2022, the proceeding was quietly closed. A loyal soldier whom the system carried on its shoulders.
