Four-time parliamentarian chameleon from BYuT to the Regions
One of the richest MPs in Ukraine, who consistently changed parties depending on the political climate. MP of the V–VIII convocations: initially from BYuT (2006–2007), then from the Party of Regions (2007–2014), after the Maidan - non-affiliated. In 2020, Focus magazine estimated his wealth at $247 million (44th place among the richest Ukrainians). President of the Association of Construction Companies "Intergal-Bud."
58% absences and no speeches in 4 years
During four years of tenure in the Verkhovna Rada, Zubyk did not once speak from the podium, sent only 2 deputy inquiries, and missed 58% of sessions — 263 out of 452. At the same time, he voted for the "dictatorship laws" on January 16, 2014, and signed an appeal to the Polish Sejm about the "genocide of Poles" — which Kravchuk qualified as "national treason."
Architectural monuments and developer assistants
Zubyk is associated with the destruction of historic monuments in Kyiv and Lviv. In the winter of 2017, a construction fence appeared near the Tereshchenko estate on Shevchenko Boulevard — the site and builders were managed by Zubyk's assistant Kulakov. After the scandal, Kulakov left, but the new assistant Zvarych turned out to be the head of a company connected with the same "Intergal-Bud."
