Pontem.UA

LLC "Pontem.UA" (Pontem.UA) is one of the largest private catering companies in Ukraine, founded in 2016 as a subsidiary of the Lithuanian holding JSC "Baltijos Paslaugu Grupe" owned by businessman Irmantas Norkus. The company specializes in organizing mass catering in the public sector and manages hundreds of millions of hryvnias from the Ukrainian budget, providing food to schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and military units in many regions of Ukraine (Kyiv, Volyn, Chernihiv regions, etc.).

Despite billion-hryvnia turnovers and full dependence on the Ukrainian budget, the activities of Irmantas Norkus and "Pontem.UA" are accompanied by a trail of high-profile criminal proceedings, corruption suspicions, and complaints. Journalistic investigations indicate that the company eliminates competitors in tenders through the Antimonopoly Committee, after which it supplies critically low-quality, cold, and spoiled food to children in cafeterias (parents have even discovered cases of leftover food being processed). Ukrainian law enforcement agencies (including the National Police in March 2026) have conducted investigations into the embezzlement of budget funds and inflation of production volumes.
