"Agroinvest Holding" is a Kharkiv-based agricultural enterprise founded in 2014. It specializes in growing grain and industrial crops, owns a land bank of 22,000 hectares, and employs about 300 staff. The beneficiaries are Oleg Kiyashko (50%) and Oleksandr Hvozdik (50%). The director is Andriy Honcharenko.
Founder — from the "Knyaz" criminal group
In 2020, the Security Service of Ukraine uncovered a criminal group led by the Kharkiv criminal authority Vadym Kazartsev, known as "Knyaz," involved in extortion, raiding, and contract killings in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions. Among those detained was Oleg Kiyashko, "Knyaz"'s right-hand man.
Kiyashko was Kazartsev's son-in-law — married to "Knyaz"'s daughter Valeriya Kazartseva, who is a judge at the Commercial Court of Kharkiv region. The business connection with the criminal group is confirmed by family and business relations.
After his arrest, Kiyashko cooperated with the investigation and began providing information about the group's partners, which allowed him to be placed under house arrest. As of November 2025, Kiyashko is wanted by law enforcement.
Before his death in 2020, "Knyaz" transferred his share in "Agroinvest Holding" to Oleksandr Hvozdik — a Kharkiv boxer and former WBC world champion who has long resided in the USA.
State tenders during the war
In 2025, the company "KharkivenergoRemont-Holding" began winning state tenders for the repair of energy facilities at the Trypilska and Zmiivska Thermal Power Plants — contracts worth 55.5 million and 7 million UAH respectively. The investigation classifies numerous gifts from Kiyashko to his wife's family as probable money laundering.
