MHP (Myronivsky Hliboproduct)

The largest poultry producer in Europe and raiding

MHP ("Myronivsky Hliboproduct") is a vertically integrated agroholding, producer of poultry under the "Nasha Ryaba" brand. It controls about 60% of the Ukrainian poultry market, and from 2025 — the №1 producer in Europe. Registered in Cyprus through Mironivsky Hliboprodukt SA, its shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange. Despite its obvious dominant position in the poultry market, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has never recognized MHP as a monopolist.

650 thousand dollars in cash

During a search at the residence of raider Vasyl Astion, law enforcement officers found a contract according to which on June 20, 2023, he received 650 thousand dollars in cash from MHP. Astion, through a court controlled by a judge, initiated the bankruptcy of "Kompleks Agromars" — a key competitor of MHP in the poultry market. The enterprise has been idle for three years amid the war. According to the victims, the goal is the total destruction of competition to establish monopolistic price control.

Offshore structure and debts during the war

MHP is registered in Luxembourg, with operational structures through Cypriot holdings. In 2025, the company placed eurobonds worth $550 million at 10.5% — an unusually high rate reflecting the real risk assessment by international investors. The charitable foundation "MHP-Community" and donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine serve as public cover.
