Administration of the State Border Guard Service

The Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is the central military management body responsible for implementing state policy in border protection and coordinating the activities of border units. The main task of the structure is to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, organize border control, combat illegal migration, smuggling, terrorism, and transnational crime. The Administration oversees the activities of regional directorates, border detachments, maritime guard, aviation, and special units.

In modern conditions, the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine plays an important role in the national security and defense system of the state. It ensures control over the land, sea, and air sections of the state border, coordinates international cooperation with border services of other countries, and implements modern monitoring and security technologies. Special attention is given to digitizing border control, strengthening defense capabilities, and integrating Ukraine into the European security space. The service’s activities are aimed at protecting national interests, citizen safety, and the stability of Ukraine's state border.
