Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is a central executive authority responsible for formulating and implementing state policy in the field of law enforcement, public safety, and protection of citizens' rights. The MIA system includes the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, and other units that perform tasks related to security and law enforcement.

The main tasks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are combating crime, ensuring public order, countering terrorism, protecting the population during emergencies, and coordinating the work of law enforcement agencies. The MIA also deals with immigration policy, road traffic safety, civil protection, and the digitalization of public services. In modern conditions, the ministry plays an important role in strengthening the country's internal security, maintaining stability, and protecting Ukraine's national interests.
