About Political Party "Volya"

The political party "Volya" was founded in December 2010 and positions itself as a force oriented towards renewing the political system and increasing the government's accountability to citizens. It was formed as a project emphasizing civic oversight and transparency in governance, gradually developing its presence in Ukraine's political environment.

An important milestone in the party's activities was the 2014 parliamentary elections, when its representative Yuriy Derevyanko was elected as a people's deputy. At that time, the party participated in the elections in cooperation with the political force "Samopomich," which allowed it to gain representation at the national level.

In the following years, the party continued to participate in electoral processes, though it did not always achieve significant results. In particular, some of its representatives repeatedly ran for parliament and local councils but did not secure mandates. The party's leadership also changed: in 2018–2019 it was headed by Volodymyr Stupak, and from May 2020 the leader is Anton Zemskov.

In the 2020 local elections, the party nominated its candidates in various regions, including Valeriy Shupta for the position of mayor of Poltava. This indicates the political force's desire to expand its presence at the local level and influence community development.

The party's financial activities are also reflected in the reports: for 2019 it received over 4 million hryvnias, which enabled it to support organizational work and political activity.

Thus, "Volya" remains a political force striving to maintain its presence in the electoral process and to develop its own structure despite limited electoral results.
