Zelensky held a meeting of the Command Staff: they discussed the consequences of Russia's massive missile strikes.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held another meeting of the Commander-in-Chief's Staff on 16 November.

The key topic this time was a discussion of the consequences of Russia's mass missile strike on Ukrainian territory the day before.

Participants discussed the elimination of the consequences of the new attack by the aggressor state on critical infrastructure facilities and ways to increase the effectiveness of Ukraine's air defense forces. This is stated in a message on the president of Ukraine's website.

"The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on Wednesday held another meeting of the Commander-in-Chief's Staff. Participants analyzed information on the nature of the damage caused by recent Russian missile strikes and reviewed the progress of eliminating the consequences of these terrorist attacks. The discussion also covered strengthening protection of critical infrastructure facilities and increasing the effectiveness of Ukraine's air defense," the message said.

The participants of the Command Staff meeting also considered forecasts for the development of the operational situation at the front, taking into account changes in the southern direction.

During the meeting, a number of decisions were made regarding further de-occupation of Ukrainian territories.

"Separately, the pace and volume of repair of equipment and weapons and ensuring the troops have everything they need to endure the winter period were analyzed," the Office of the President (OP) added.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleh Lysytvynenko, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, and the commanders of the operational direction troops.

Also joining the Command Staff meeting were Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, other cabinet members, heads of security and law enforcement agencies.
