Mykytas Maksym Viktorovych
Businessman, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation
Ukrainian civil servant, lawyer, and auditor
Dehnera serves as the current head of the State Labor Service of Ukraine (Derzhpratsi). He was born in 1983 in Uman and graduated from Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University with two degrees — a master's in law and a specialist degree in accounting and auditing. He has worked in the State Labor Service system for over 15 years, rising through the ranks from a junior inspector to the director of a specialized department. In March 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed him as the head of this central service, which is responsible for overseeing labor legislation compliance, combating shadow employment, and ensuring safe working conditions in the country.
Systemic criticism from the business community and anti-corruption media
Investigative journalists have repeatedly called the vertical of the State Labor Service a tool for pressuring businesses and accused it of establishing shadow schemes of levies on entrepreneurs under the guise of "penalties" for undeclared employees. A major scandal erupted at the end of 2025 when the State Bureau of Investigations conducted searches at the Northeastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service subordinate to him due to the exposure of large-scale bribery extortion from entrepreneurs, although Dehnera himself asserts that the renewed service conducts a strict, uncompromising fight against shadow schemes and undeclared labor. Additionally, in the past, his connections with behind-the-scenes patrons and critiques of Cabinet of Ministers resolutions he initiated regarding inspection checks—which were subsequently annulled by courts as unlawful—were discussed in the press.
