Denysiuk Stanislav Fedorovych

Ukrainian lawyer, attorney, Doctor of Legal Sciences

Professor of the Department of Criminalistics at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, retired Lieutenant General of police, and former high-ranking public official Stanislav Denysiuk began his career in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Having advanced to head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kharkiv Oblast (2004–2005), he later moved to the fiscal sector and for five years led the State Tax Administration in Kharkiv Oblast (until 2012). After leaving public service, he obtained a lawyer's certificate.

High-profile case

The former official is a figure in one of the most high-profile anti-corruption cases in modern Ukrainian history — the so-called "tax playgrounds" case from the era of Oleksandr Klymenko. In May 2017, during an unprecedented special operation by the military prosecutor's office, Denysiuk was arrested and transported by helicopter to Kyiv, where the court ordered pre-trial detention with a record bail of 100.32 million hryvnias. He was accused of participating in Viktor Yanukovych's criminal organization and causing state losses of 308 million hryvnias through tax manipulations. A new wave of media discussions erupted at the end of August 2026, when the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) recorded that Denysiuk Sr. had gifted his daughter—Tetyana Denysiuk, a judge of the Commercial Court of Kharkiv Oblast (who had been acquitted for the second time by the High Anti-Corruption Court in March 2026 in the Onyshchenko schemes case)—almost 4.5 million hryvnias in cash.
