Dismissed for unconfirmed reports on child rape and disclosure of the hiding place of children in Kherson

On May 31, 2022, the Rada dismissed Denysova due to "an unclear concentration of media activity on numerous details of sexual crimes committed in an unnatural way and child rapes in the occupied territories, which she could not confirm with evidence, only harming Ukraine." Nearly 50 female journalists from Ukrainian media urged her to publish only verified information. When questioned by colleagues, Denysova responded: "We are working on the informational front." Additionally, she was accused of providing the occupiers with information about the location of 58 children hiding in Kherson — after which they allegedly transported them to Crimea.
