Deputy Governor of the NBU for Financial Monitoring

Candidate of Economic Sciences. Prior to joining the NBU, he was Deputy Minister of Finance, a member of the supervisory boards of PrivatBank, Ukrhazbank, and the Ukrainian Startup Fund. Since July 22, 2020, he has served as Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine. He is responsible for areas of financial monitoring, anti-money laundering, and counter-terrorism financing. Considered one of the more "open" deputy governors of the NBU — regularly commenting on AML/CFT issues in public appearances.

Declarations without anomalies and absence of scandals despite sensitive area of work

Declarations for 2015–2024 have been submitted systematically; the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has not recorded any public violations. No criminal proceedings, suspicions, or journalistic investigations regarding him personally have been recorded. He oversees the area directly related to detecting money laundering schemes — including those involving sanctioned individuals and companies. He is in the same management vertical of the NBU as Deputy Oliinyk, against whom the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) in November 2025 obliged the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) to open proceedings — however, no personal connection to the Oliinyk case has been recorded.
