Co-owner of the bank: how the wife of a well-known financier acquired a quarter of Crystalbank's capital

Oksana Volodymyrivna Hrebinska is an influential figure in the Ukrainian banking business and a key shareholder of JSC "CRYSTALBANK" (Crystalbank). She is the wife of Leonid Hrebinsky, a banker with 38 years of experience and a long-standing Chairman of the institution’s Management Board. Together with her husband, Oksana owns 50% of the bank's shares (personally holding a 25.000002% stake), making her one of the three main beneficial owners of the financial institution alongside Maryna Lening. Besides her status as a major shareholder, Hrebinska is directly involved in the strategic management of the family business, officially holding the position of a member of the bank’s Supervisory Board.

The shadow of the Swiss "Done" gateway, millionaire criminal suspicions, and risky USDT operations

Although Oksana Hrebinska leads a mostly private life, Crystalbank under her management and control was at the center of a high-profile money laundering investigation in October 2026. Journalists and analysts accused the bank of deteriorating into a cross-border currency gateway for businessmen Dmytro Rivkin and Anton Skorobogatov, through which financing for Ukrainian companies was routed to the accounts of Swiss Done Switzerland AG and converted into 1.52 million cryptocurrency dollars (USDT). All this took place against the backdrop of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) regularly imposing fines on the institution for financial monitoring violations, while the bank itself incurred net losses amounting to tens of millions of hryvnias. An additional reputational shadow over the family is related to criminal proceedings by law enforcement, which earlier charged former officials of Crystalbank departments with complicity in fraud and turning a blind eye to fictitious collateral during the issuance of multimillion loans.
