The Unsung Architect of Financial Control: Compliance Director of Crystalbank Without NBU Approval
Yevhen Sydoruk is a Ukrainian financial manager and banker who has assumed the strategic position of Director of Financial Monitoring at JSC Crystalbank. In this role, he obtained direct access to overseeing all multimillion internal and international currency transactions of the bank. According to investigators, Sydoruk served in this capacity at Leonid Hrebinsky's bank for a prolonged period despite his candidacy, according to verification materials, never receiving official approval and verification from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
Green Light for Cross-Border Millions, VAT Schemes, and USDT
Sydoruk's name erupted in the media in the fall of 2026 following the exposure of an international capital outflow channel from Ukraine to Switzerland by the Rivkin and Skorobogatov group through the Done Switzerland AG fund. Journalists directly accuse the bank's financial monitoring head of knowingly ignoring suspicious operations and granting a "green light" to dubious transactions of KOOPERANT EUROPEJSKI and a number of Ukrainian importers when other financial institutions refused to service them. Besides cashless currency outflows and cryptocurrency USDT operations, the entities facilitated by the bank are accused of creating multimillion fictitious tax credits ("VAT carousel fraud") and their subsequent sale in the shadow market with the assistance of corrupt Kyiv tax officials.
