Head of Kherson Regional State Administration
General Director of Ukroboronprom (2020–2023), Arahamia's appointee
Deputy Minister of Defense (2014–2016), head of Kherson Regional State Administration (2019–2020), General Director of State Concern Ukroboronprom (December 2020 – June 2023). Dismissed by decree of Zelensky. Since February 2024 — Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan. While still at the Ministry of Defense, "Husev's people" insisted during negotiations with German partners on involving a specific company lacking profile and capacities; after a scandal involving an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Husev left the Ministry of Defense.
Iroquois helicopters and contractors with signs of Russian Federation connections
In April 2022, Husev personally participated in a TV report about the work of an unnamed defense industry enterprise; even Russian "war correspondents" established the exact geolocation — three days later, the invaders launched a missile strike on the specific workshop. Under his leadership, Ukroboronprom published a website where the "Oplot" tank fired an artillery shell from World War II — industry media called this a symbol of incompetence. Other scandals during his tenure included: the purchase of Iroquois helicopters via Odesa through a dubious scheme; retaining the position of enterprise head Morozov — who was accused of connections with Russian special services even from the parliamentary tribune of the Verkhovna Rada — following an allegedly successful "internal investigation."
