Honored Lawyer and First Lady of Kharkiv Region

Tetiana Petrivna Yehorova-Lutsenko is one of the most influential female politicians in the eastern region and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, leading this strategic body since August 2021. A Doctor of Legal Sciences and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, she began her career as a court secretary, later headed the regional justice department, and entered high-level politics under the banner of the "Servant of the People" party, leading the regional branch of the "Ze!Women" movement. Her political status strengthened nationally and internationally after being elected president of the Ukrainian Association of District and Regional Councils (UAROR) and appointed vice-president of the Assembly of European Regions. Despite working in a frontline region, Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko has demonstrated rapid career growth for an extended period.

French Travels, Restaurants in Cannes and "Undisclosed" Assets Under NABU Scrutiny

A real media storm erupted around the official due to luxurious foreign assets and hidden millions of her family, which later led to a family drama. Investigative journalists revealed that her ex-husband, businessman Vitalii Lutsenko, during the full-scale war, traveled abroad using her official council car with a driver to register ownership of the MIDI AU SOLEIL restaurant on the Cannes waterfront and a company in Nice. In the documents, he declared himself unmarried to avoid financial monitoring for public officials (PEP).

At the end of 2024, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) officially confirmed falsehoods in the regional council head's 2022 declaration amounting to over 3.4 million hryvnias, as she concealed French real estate. Based on this material, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) opened a criminal proceeding. Attempting to minimize reputational damage, in February 2025 the couple hurriedly and officially divorced through court, citing "instability of family relations," but anti-corruption bodies continue to thoroughly investigate the significant income growth of the top official.
