Former MP from OPZZh, convicted traitor

People's Deputy of the IX convocation from the Opposition Platform — For Life party, previously a participant in Euromaidan and trusted person of the leader of the Right Sector Yarosh, later commander of the Ministry of Internal Affairs battalion "Poltavshchyna." In February 2020, during a plenary session of the Rada, he was caught corresponding with the leader of the LDPR Zhirinovsky, saved in his phone as "Zhyryk Volodymyr Volf" — Kiva complained about the impossibility of "restoring good relations between Russia and Ukraine." In 2021, the High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated over 1.2 million UAH of his income from a fictitious lease of a pulp pit, recognizing these assets as unsubstantiated.

State treason, escape to Moscow, and liquidation by the SBU

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Kiva fled to Russia; in March 2022, the Rada deprived him of his mandate, and in April opened a criminal case for state treason. In November 2023, the court sentenced him in absentia to 14 years imprisonment with confiscation of property for state treason and calls for violent overthrow of the constitutional order. The Security Service of Ukraine also established that from Russia Kiva controlled a criminal group in Kyiv, which previously carried out provocations at mass events on his behalf. On December 6, 2023, his body was found in the Moscow region — according to sources, this was an SBU special operation.
