Protégé of Groysman and Poroshenko

From 2000 to 2010 — deputy and first deputy head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration. Then — chairman of the supervisory board of JSC "KMT". Since July 2011 — deputy mayor of Vinnytsia under Volodymyr Groysman. In February 2015, Poroshenko appointed Koroviy as head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration. A typical career of a person from the Vinnytsia clan: Groysman → Poroshenko → governor.

"Humanitarian" foreign cars and scandal

The all-Ukrainian movement "Under Control!" found that Koroviy signed an order dated June 29, 2016, by which three foreign passenger cars were recognized as humanitarian aid for people with disabilities. One of the cars was received by the director of the state enterprise "Vinnytsiaylisservice." The amount of possible losses is 1.2 million UAH.

Hectares of land in the declaration

According to the 2017 declaration, Koroviy himself owns a 31,000 sq.m. plot in Trostyanetskyi district. His wife owns plots with a total area of over 24,000 sq.m., a 318 sq.m. house in Stryzhavka, and an apartment in Vinnytsia. His wife works at LLC "Agrana Fruit Ukraine." The land assets appear disproportionate to their official incomes.

Resignation after Zelensky's inauguration

Koroviy resigned immediately after President Zelensky's inauguration in May 2019. By decree dated September 18, 2019, he was officially relieved of his post.
