Kyiv City Council deputy from the pro-Russian OPZZh, former CEO of Kyivzelenbud
General Director of the Communal Organization "Kyivzelenbud" from 2016 to 2018. After dismissal, he headed the charitable foundation of developer and people's deputy Vadym Stolar and managed the OPZZh Secretariat of the Kyiv City State Administration. In October 2020, he was elected a deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the OPZZh party in electoral district 2 and became secretary of the commission on digital transformation issues.
NABU case worth 115 million, money in Italy, and six episodes of abuses
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) sent an indictment to the Anti-Corruption Court against 10 persons in the case of embezzlement of over 115 million hryvnias from Kyivzelenbud. Among the defendants are two former general directors of the Communal Organization (2016–2018 and 2018–2019), a former deputy director for commercial affairs, and other officials. It has been established that part of the illegally obtained funds was redirected by scheme participants to accounts of foreign companies, and from there to a company controlled by them registered in Italy. According to CHESNO, Nakonechnyi is implicated in six anti-corruption cases, including violations of tender procedures and abuse of official position.
